Whip City Animal Sanctuary to honor land donor

WESTFIELD – Whip City Animal Sanctuary, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization located on 232 Montgomery Rd. that provides a home for rescued and surrendered farm animals, will be honoring William Reed of Westfield during open hours this Saturday, Nov. 23 at 11 a.m.

The sanctuary is the recipient of an abutting 11-acre parcel of land generously donated by Reed, who will be presented with a plaque commemorating his donation. In addition, a sign will be erected on the new property honoring him in perpetuity. The public is welcome to join the sanctuary founders and volunteers to help celebrate this momentous event.
