A new entertainment venue in Boston could help you walk away with a full stomach and plenty of prizes during your next night out in the city.
If you are looking to kill some time before your next game at TD Garden or show at Big Night Live, then Play Boston may be the place for you. The venue, which replaced Guy’s Tequila Cocina, and opened in December 2023, combines the elements of a restaurant and an arcade under one roof.
Guests can try out one of multiple games like Crack the Cube, Baseball Pro, Quick Shot and Plinko while ordering staples off Play’s menu like its signature pizza, burgers, sandwiches or fresh salads.
Once you’ve had your playtime, head on over to the ticket counter to redeem tickets for a prize, or to the bar for one of Play’s beers or cocktails. Play Boston is one of the latest ventures from entertainment and hospitality company Big Night Entertainment, which oversees multiple venues in the Boston area.
“At Big Night, we are constantly evolving and keeping our finger on the pulse of the city and latest trends to bring innovative concepts and venues to the area that we know guests will love,” said Ed Kane, principal of Big Night. “We are thrilled to introduce PLAY to Boston and deliver an experience unlike any other.”

Play Boston is open Sunday through Thursday from 4 p.m. to 12 a.m., and Friday through Saturday from 4 p.m to 2 a.m. More information can be found online.
