Yelp says this Mass. apple picking spot is one to bookmark

With the return of pumpkin spice at Dunkin’ and Starbucks and foliage predictions for New England on the brain, one of the next steps in the fall lineup is to go apple picking.

So to help you plan your first fall outing, Yelp compiled a list of “25 apple picking spots to bookmark,” featuring one Massachusetts farm: Cider Hill Farm in Amesbury.

The 145-acre, family farm has been named the best apple picking spot in the U.S. by Yelp in 2021 and the fourth most beautiful farm to visit in the world by The Travel in 2022.

Cider Hill Farm is known for letting people pick-their-own fruit, cutting their own flowers as well as its award-winning estate-grown hard cider, farmhouse gifts and apple cider doughnuts.

The farm store, bakery, play areas and barnyard are open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily from late April to mid-December.

In addition, Cider Hill Farms hosts events, including a Country Fair that will take place from Saturday, Aug. 31 to Sunday, Sept. 2.
