Now’s your chance to sample foods from all over Armenia.
Try paklava, an Armenian pastry with chopped nuts, layered of buttery phyllo dough and topped with sugar syrup, or yalanchi, grape leaves stuffed with onion, rice and herbs.
Both options and more will be served at St. Mark Armenian Church’s annual Armenian Festival, to be held on the church grounds on Sunday, Sept. 1, from noon to 6 p.m.
