WTA allied health teacher Maureen Baillargeon retires after stellar year

WESTFIELD — June 30 was the official last day before retirement of Westfield Technical Academy allied health department head and SkillsUSA chapter advisor Maureen Baillargeon of Russell, who has been at the school since 2002.

Prior to WTA, Baillargeon had been a school nurse for one year, and before that taught licensed practical nursing at Holyoke Community College. She herself has been a registered nurse since 1987.
