Worcester leaders resigned to hotel deal with WPI, say it was best city could get

City and business leaders in Worcester have expressed mixed feelings after Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) and the city came to an agreement that involves the university making payments to the town to make up for lost revenue after WPI bought two hotels.

Worcester Mayor Joseph Petty told MassLive that City Manager Eric Batista did the best he could to achieve the agreement.
