The Granby and Chicopee Comp girls lacrosse teams combined for 31 goals on Thursday night, but it was Granby who came out on top 16-15.
Mylin Laliberte scored five goals to lead a Granby attack that saw three different players notch hat tricks. Kalli White scored four goals and one assist while Kelly Lynne Kennedy notched three goals and three assists for the Rams (7-5).
Faith Ramos anchored the Granby defense, saving three shots from her goalie position.
Similar to Granby’s ability to get a variety of different players involved, seven different players scored for the Colts (3-6). Julia Chagnon led the attack with four goals and two assists followed by Addison Foley with three. Goalie Alexa Franklin saved seven shots, but the persistent Granby attack proved too much for the Colts’ defense.
The Rams will next travel to Hoosac Valley on Tuesday, May 6 at 4:00 p.m. Chicopee Comp will look to bounce back in the win column when they face Amherst-Pelham on Tuesday at 4:15 p.m.
