WMass Girls Basketball Roundup: East Longmeadow powers past PVCA

East Longmeadow earned its first win of the season on the road at Pioneer Valley Christian Academy on Thursday, 49-31.

Ella Culbertson-Chaszar led the way in a 22-point performance, knocking down five shots from beyond the arc in the process. Kendall Reid and Mya Knowles grabbed six and five points, respectively, to add to the team’s efforts.

For PVCA, junior Sadie Keegan lead with 10 points, followed by eight from Brooke Beggs.

The Spartans move on to battle Agawam during an away matchup on December 17th at 7 p.m. Meanwhile, Pioneer Valley Christian Academy looks to its next competition versus Renaissance on Monday at 7 p.m.
