Top-seeded Southwick breezed by No. 4 Springfield International Charter School, in straight sets, to move onto the final of the boys class C statewide volleyball tournament.
Captain Phong Tran led the way with his 28 assists, to go along with four digs and a team-high four service aces! Nicolas Spina had himself a monster day on both ends, finishing with a whopping five blocks, along with 11 digs and a team high in kills (17).
They will look to claim Class C glory and win the tournament in a few days’ time, as they’ll go up against the winner of No.2 Pioneer Valley Christian Academy and No.3 Frontier.
