Sci-Tech defeated Granby at home in four sets on Monday night (26-24, 24-26, 25-19, 25-19) to earn its 10th win of the season.
The Cybercats (10-4) were led by setter Yadiel Bermudez Nieves, who notched a season-high 54 assists along with five digs and an ace. Jadiel Rodriguez also had a strong night with 23 kills, 13 digs, a block and an assist.
The Cybercats recorded 16 aces as a team, led by Mason Mercado with five in addition to his 11 kills and 18 digs.
Despite the loss, Nathan Walsh had a standout performance for the Rams (9-5) with 22 assists, four digs and two kills. Granby will look to bounce back in the win column after losing two straight when they travel to Holyoke on Wednesday at 5:00 p.m.
Sci-Tech has now won one five of its last six games and will next face-off against Commerce on Wednesday at 5:15 p.m.
