The National Weather Service issued a winter weather advisory at 3:04 a.m. on Monday valid from 3 p.m. until Tuesday 10 a.m. for Northern Worcester as well as Franklin, Hampshire and Middlesex counties.
The weather service adds, “Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze.”
“Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday evening and Tuesday morning commutes,” comments the weather service. “Slow down and use caution while traveling.”
