On Wednesday at 11:58 p.m. the National Weather Service issued a wind advisory valid from Thursday 1 p.m. until Friday 1 a.m. for Barnstable, Dukes and Nantucket counties.
The weather service says, “North winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 50 mph expected.”
“Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” comments the weather service.
