Formerly a deputy superintendent and member of the Boston Police senior command staff, Eddy Chrispin was relegated to the rank of sergeant detective after Campbell seated him on the state’s powerful new board for improving accountability and standards in law enforcement, the Peace Officer Standards and Training, or POST, Commission.
