Where to watch Stony Brook vs. San Diego State free stream today

The last game of the night on Thursday, Aug. 28 sees an FCS program looking for a major upset on the road as the Stony Brook Seawolves face the San Diego States Aztecs at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego.

The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on KSUI-TV and Mountain West Network. Fans looking to watch this college football game can do so for free by using DirecTV, which offers a free trial. FuboTV offers up to $30 off your first month.

San Diego State went 3-9 last season and 2-5 in the Mountain West as they had a slight downslide from their 4-8 2023 in which they went 2-6 in conference. The only one of the top offensive threats returning from last season is wide receiver Jordan Napier, who was second on the team with 43 catches and third in yards with 440. Last year’s leader in receiving yards, Louis Brown, is now at Baylor.

Stony Brook went 8-4 last season, dropping its season opener to FBS Marshall, and losing its last two regular season games and missing out on the postseason. However, two of the team’s losses, Villanova on Oct. 5 and New Hampshire on Nov. 16, came against teams that made the FCS Playoffs in 2024.
