A pair of 4-2 clubs are meeting up at Wembley Stadium in London and getting the day started on Sunday, Oct. 19 as the Jacksonville Jaguars go against the Los Angeles Rams.
This NFL game is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. EDT and will be broadcast on NFL Network and FOX locally in Los Angeles and Jacksonville. Fans looking to watch can do so for free by using DirecTV, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial as well as up to $30 off your first month. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available for streaming the game, and NFL+ airs all local market games, and NFL+ Premium allows fans to watch condensed game replays and all-22 coaches film.
The Rams are in a bit of a tough spot as they will be without star wide receiver Puka Nacua, who is dealing with an ankle injury suffered in last week’s 17-3 win over the Baltimore Ravens. Nacua leads the team in receptions, yards and is tied with Davante Adams for second in touchdowns. He has more than twice as many catches as the next closest teammate and more than 200 more yards than the next closest receiver.
The Jaguars are looking to bounce back from a 20-12 loss to the Seattle Seahawks last week in which they rushed for fewer than 60 yards. Trevor Lawrence went 27-for-42 for 258 yards and two scores, but Travis Etienne Jr. had only 27 yards on 12 rushes. Jacksonville’s defense had similar success in slowing down Seattle’s rushing attack, but the Jaguars only had two scoring drives and the inability to run proved to be too much of an issue in the loss.
