A couple of ranked Big Ten teams help get the football action started on Saturday, Oct. 11 as the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes visit the No. 17 Illinois Fighting Illini at Memorial Stadium in Champaign, Ill.
The game is scheduled to start at noon EDT and will be broadcast on FOX and FOX Deportes. The Buckeyes come into this contest following a 42-3 throttling of Minnesota. Quarterback Julian Sayin went 23-for-27 for 326 yards and three touchdowns with wide receiver Jeremiah Smith catching most of those touchdowns (two) and wide receiver Carnell Tate collecting most of the yards (183).
Illinois is fresh off a 43-27 win over Purdue where quarterback Luke Altmyer went 19-for-23 for 390 yards and a touchdown. While Altmyer racked up the yards, kicker David Olano racked up the points with four extra points and five field goals in the victory.
