A couple of Western Conference squads with hopes of making the NBA Finals meet up on Monday, Oct. 27 when the Minnesota Timberwolves host the Denver Nuggets at the Target Center in Minneapolis.
This NBA game is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on Peacock. Peacock has plans starting at $7.99 a month and has exclusive NBA games on Mondays and also allows fans to watch games that are broadcast on NBC.
The Timberwolves are 2-1, but will be without All-Star Anthony Edwards who is nursing a hamstring injury that is expected to keep him sidelined for about two weeks. Last time out, Minnesota picked up a 114-110 win over the Indiana Pacers where Julius Randle led the team with 31 points and six assists while Rudy Gobert had 14, 18 rebounds and two blocks after Edwards left after playing three minutes.
The Nuggets are 1-1 and coming off a 133-111 win over the Phoenix Suns after losing their opener to the Golden State Warriors, 137-131 in overtime. Nikola Jokic had a triple double with 14 points, 14 rebounds and 15 assists while Jamal Murray and Christain Braun combined for 43 points and four other players (Aaron Gordon, Cameron Johnson, Jonas Valanciunas and Bruce Brown) were also in double figures for scoring.
