The most anticipated second game of a college coaching career comes on Saturday, Sept. 6 when the North Carolina Tar Heels visit the Charlotte 49ers at Jerry Richardson Stadium in Charlotte, N.C.

UNC coach Bill Belichick is in serious need to lead his team to a vastly different result after opening the season on Monday with a 48-14 thrashing at home to TCU. In his entire 29-year career as an NFL head coach, Belichick’s defenses never allowed as many as 48 points.
The game started off well with the Tar Heels marching down the field on their opening drive, going 83 yards in seven plays, capping things off with an eight-yard touchdown run from Caleb Hood. However, the offense went quiet after that, and quarterback Gio Lopez ended up getting knocked out of the game after passing for 69 yards and an interception.
Charlotte is also 0-1 after a 34-11 loss to App State in the Duke’s Mayo Classic season opener. They allowed more than 400 passing yards and three scorers in the loss.
