A matchup with huge playoff implications closes out the WNBA doubleheader on Friday, Aug. 29 as the Los Angeles Sparks host the Indiana Fever at crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Indiana’s last game was a 95-75 win over the Storm where Aliyah Boston posted game highs with 27 points and nine rebounds while also swiping two steals. Odyssey Sims chipped in 22 and six assists and Kelsey Mitchell had 21 points as well with those three being the only ones on the Fever to score in double-figures.
The Sparks are coming off a 92-84 loss to the Mercury, but they are looking to complete a season sweep of Indiana on Friday. The teams last met at the start of the month and Los Angeles won 100-91, with Rickea Jackson and Kelsey Plum leading the way with 25 points each. Jackson’s status for Friday is a question, and if she doesn’t play, the duo of Dearica Hamby and Azura Stevens will need to add a little more. In the last meeting with the Fever they combined for 35 points and 12 rebounds.
