There are a trio of WNBA games taking place late on Tuesday, Aug. 5, and one of those matchups sees the Indiana Fever visiting the Los Angeles Sparks at crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on CBSSN. Fans looking to watch this WNBA game can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. FuboTV offers up to $25 off your first month. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available. Paramount+ starts at $7.99 a month and Paramount+ with SHOWTIME is $12.99, and the service also offers a free trial.
The Fever are the hottest team in the league and are in the midst of a five-game winning streak that has them sitting at 17-12, the fifth-best record in the league. They’ve won eight of their last 10, but they are winless in two attempts against the Sparks this season.
Los Angeles has won twice in Indianapolis this season, first by 10 and then by 2. This is the third meeting between the teams this regular season and they play a fourth and final time at the end of August, also in Los Angeles. Kelsey Plum, Dearica Hamby, Azura Stevens and Rickea Jackson all made major contributions in both victories and will be leaned on heavily on Tuesday, but they will also have Cameron Brink back in the fold as the No. 2 pick from 2024 will play in her third game since returning from her ACL injury.
Caitlin Clark remains sidelined with still no word on a timeline for when to expect her back. Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston, Natasha Howard and Aari McDonald have all upped their offensive production with Clark out, while Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson and Lexie Hull have also helped in serious ways to make up for the loss of last season’s assist leader.
