The college basketball action on Monday, Nov. 24 out in Las Vegas continues at the MGM Grand Garden Arena with arguably the biggest game of the week between the No. 8 Alabama Crimson Tide and the No. 12 Gonzaga Bulldogs.
This college basketball game is scheduled to start at 9:30 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on TNT. Fans looking to watch can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. Alabama is playing its fourth straight game against a team ranked at least in the top-15 and the Crimson Tide have already won two of those meetings. With wins over No. 14 St. John’s and No. 13 Illinois and a 7-point loss to No. 1 Purdue, 3-1 Alabama has shown it has Final Four potential, and Monday’s matchup with Gonzaga is just another chance for the Crimson Tide to show they are one of the best teams in the nation. Against Illinois on Wednesday, Labaron Philon Jr. had 24 points and five assists to pace the team while Taylor Bol Bowen and Aden Holloway combined for 23. Keitenn Bristow and Amari Allen combined for 19 points and 19 rebounds off the bench with Allen also dishing out four assists. Houston Mallette also chipped in 10 points as a reserve.
Gonzaga has not had the most daunting run so far, but wins over Oklahoma, Creighton and Arizona State are nothing to laugh at. The Bulldogs have had a week off though, having last played last Monday when they hosted Southern Utah in a 122-50 blowout that moved the home team to 5-0. The five highest scorers were all on Gonzaga, led by Braden Huff with 22 and six rebounds. Davis Fogle was the second-leading scorer with 19 in only 15 minutes off the bench while Mario Saint-Supery went for 16 with seven assists and six steals, both of which were game-highs. And lastly, Graham Ike and Adam Miller both went for 13 points with two steals with Ike also registering a block and Miller knocking down a pair of triples.
