For the second straight week the Auburn Tigers are on the road against a ranked SEC squad as they visit the No. 9 Texas A&M Aggies at Kyle Field in College Station, Texas on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Auburn was on the wrong end of a 24-17 matchup with the now-No. 7 Oklahoma Sooners last week, which dropped Auburn from No. 22 to unranked. The Tigers are 3-1 with all of their wins coming by at least two scores. Running back Jeremiah Cobb has been a solid backfield partner with quarterback Jackson Arnold with Cobb rushing for 375 yards with a 7.2 yard per carry and four touchdowns as Arnold has thrown for 721 yards and five scores to go with 181 rushing yards and four more touchdowns. But last week in Oklahoma, Darnold got sacked nine times.
The Aggies were off last week, but the week before that they were on the road against the No. 22 Notre Dame Fighting Irish, where they earned a last-second 41-40 victory. Quarterback Marcel Reed tossed for 360 yards, two touchdowns and an interceptions while also rushing for 37 yards, and he tossed the game-winning score with 13 seconds left to tight end Nate Boerkircher. On the season, Reed has 869 passing yards, nine touchdowns and that one pick along with 142 rushing yards and one touchdown for 3-0 Texas A&M.
