A pair of SEC teams ranked in the top 25 meet up on Saturday, Sept. 20 for the first conference game for each squad as the No. 11 Oklahoma Sooners host the No. 22 Auburn Tigers at Memorial Stadium in Norman, Okla.
The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ABC. Fans looking to watch this college football game can do so for free by using DirecTV, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial as well as up to $30 off your first month. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available for streaming the game. You can stream ESPN+ or ESPN Unlimited on your phone, tablet, smart TV or gaming console.
Both squads enter this contest at 3-0, but only Oklahoma can say it already has a win over a ranked opponent. Back in Week 2 the Sooners host now-No. 21 Michigan and came away with a 24-13 victory. They followed up that win with a 42-3 road triumph against Temple last week. Quarterback John Mateer has established himself as an early Heisman Trophy candidate as he already has 944 passing yards and five passing touchdowns on the season.
The Tigers also have a 42-3 win on their resume, and it came two weeks agi against Ball State. Last week against South Alabama, Auburn snagged a 31-15 win as they ran for 195 yards, led by Jeremiah Cobb, who had 119 yards and a score. Quarterback Jackson Arnold used to be at Oklahoma, but he now leads Auburn and last week he also rushed for a pair of scores and threw a touchdown as well.
