A couple of teams looking to make a push into the top four of the standings in the second half of the season meet up at Michelob ULTRA Arena in Las Vegas on Tuesday, July 22 when the Atlanta Dream visit the Las Vegas Aces.
The game is scheduled to start at 10 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on ESPN and ESPN Deportes. Fans looking to watch this WNBA game can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial and up to $25 off your first month. This will be the first of three meetings between these teams this season with the others coming in August. The Dream are 13-9, and their last time out was a blowout victory over the Chicago Sky, 86-49. It was a well-rounded team effort as five players scored in double-figures with Brittney Griner leading the way with 15 while her two All-Star teammates, Allisha Gray and Brionna Jones, both went for 14 points and combined for 16 rebounds and nine assists. Off the bench, Te-Hina Paopao and Naz Hillmon chipped in 13 and 10, respectively.
The Aces are 11-11 and are looking to continue a two-game winning streak. Each of those two victories saw A’ja Wilson go for more than 30 points while posting a double-double. In the 104-102 win against the Golden State Valkyries, the three-time MVP had 34 and 16 rebounds with four assists while Jackie Young added 30 of her own with six helpers. Against the Dallas Wings, Wilson had 37 and 10 as Jewell Loyd added 14 and Aaliyah Nye had 13 off the bench in the 90-86 win.
