The final quarterfinal match of the 2025 UEFA Women’s European Championship takes place on Saturday, July 19 and pits Germany against France at St. Jakob-Park in Basel, Switzerland.

This soccer match is scheduled to start at 3 p.m. EDT and will be broadcast on FOX. The winner of this match advances to a semifinal to face the winner of Friday’s contest between Spain and Switzerland. That semifinal will take place on Wednesday, July 23 while Italy takes on England in the first semifinal on Tuesday, July 22.

France won Group D by winning three matches, starting with a 2-1 victory over England. A 4-1 win against Wales and a 5-2 triumph over the Netherlands secured the top spot in the group for France.

As for Germany, it finished second in Group C after dropping their final match of Group Play to Sweden, 4-1. Germany had a 2-0 victory against Poland and a 2-1 win over Denmark earlier in the tournament that locked up a spot in the Knockout Phase, but the top spot in the group was still up for grabs. After taking it, Sweden would go on to face England in the quarterfinals, losing in penalties, 3-2, after playing to a 2-2 draw.
