ESPN’s “College GameDay” is setting up at the University of Miami this week for the in-state battle between the Florida Gators and the No. 4 Miami Hurricanes.
The premier pregame show will broadcast live from Lakeside Patio at The U for the first time since 2020 – and its first full show from Miami since 2017.
The show is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. ET and will be broadcast on ESPN. Fans looking to watch this college football show can do so for free by using DirecTV Stream, which offers a free trial, or FuboTV, which also offers a free trial as well as up to $25 off your first month. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available for streaming the show. Max has movies, original series, live sports and more and can be bundled with Disney+ and Hulu for $16.99 a month. You can stream ESPN+ on your phone, tablet, smart TV or gaming console for $11.99/month or bundle with Disney+ and Hulu for just $16.99 per month.
The show comes amid strong ratings for College GameDay, with the Week 3 broadcast from Tennessee delivering the program’s second most-watched regular season episode on record. The pregame show averaged 2.7 million viewers – a 34% increase over last year’s Week 3 show – and brought in 3.4 million viewers in the final hour with a peak of 3.8 million.
Saturday’s show will feature several special guests, including Miami’s head coach Mario Cristobal discussing the Florida matchup and Michigan’s interim head coach Biff Poggi joining live from Nebraska. Illinois head coach Brett Bielema will provide an “All-Access” look at the No. 9 Illini’s preparations for their game against No. 19 Indiana.
NHL star Matthew Tkachuk of the Florida Panthers, a two-time Stanley Cup champion, will serve as the guest picker. Tkachuk has led the Panthers to three straight Stanley Cup Finals, including back-to-back championships in the last two seasons.
