A couple of European clubs that were in the UEFA Champions League last season share the pitch on Wednesday, July 23 for a friendly as AC Milan goes against Arsenal at National Stadium in Singapore.

These clubs have not faced each other since a friendly in 2022, that Arsenal won 2-1. Prior to that, they played in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 in 2018 and Arsenal won 5-1 on aggregate, taking the matches 2-0 and 3-1. And back in 2012, they met in the Champions League Round of 16 and Milan came out on top, winning the first match 4-0 and then surviving in the second leg that went 3-0 to Arsenal.
Next season Arsenal will return to the Champions League but Milan will not play in a European competition after finishing eighth in Italian Serie A.
