Heavy snow in Boston calls for discounts on meatballs at one Italian restaurant in the South End.

SRV will offer bottomless meatballs for $6 per person any time a snow emergency is declared in the city.

The snow-fueled deal gives diners who are able to safely get to the restaurant the opportunity to enjoy plate after plate of meatballs while they last.

While there, guests are encouraged to pair their meatballs with one of SRV’s staple house made pasta dishes, made-to-order risotto, Italian wines or cocktails.

SVR will post on Instagram whenever unlimited meatballs returns. It was last offered Jan. 26, a day after a snowstorm dumped more than 2 feet in some parts of the state.

The restaurant opens for dinner at 5 p.m. on Mondays and encourages anyone brave (and hungry) enough to take on the challenge.

SVR is located at 569 Columbus Ave., Boston.
