WESTFIELD — The Westfield Health Department has hired Kimberly Slade as its new substance use outreach coordinator.
Assistant Health Director Debra Mulvenna said multiple people were considered for the position. Slade was hired because she has prior experience in other communities and understands the work that needs to be done before starting interventions in the community.
“I feel comfortable that she is a good fit for this position,” Mulvenna said.
