Last Wednesday, Ethan was at the Southampton Council on Aging for office hours, while I was at the State House in Boston to vote on a data shield bill to protect patient privacy when accessing reproductive health care services. Below is a brief write-up on the bill:
BOSTON — State Rep. Kelly Pease (R-Westfield) recently supported legislation to protect the privacy of patients accessing reproductive and other health care services by prohibiting cell phone carriers and data providers from sharing or selling the individual’s location information.
