WESTFIELD — Anna Boutin-Cooper is combining a passion for community building among disabled individuals with her love of zines.
She recently developed a project, “Cultivating a Creative & Inclusive Community with Zines,” that comprises a series of two-hour zine workshops. A research and instruction librarian at Westfield State University’s Ely Library since 2022, she said the goal is to foster a strong community connection for individuals in the Westfield area who identify as disabled.
