WESTFIELD – Senior forward Kaleigh Murphy (Pembroke) scored a goal and added an assist as top-seeded Westfield State University defeated fourth-seed Worcester State University 4-2 in the 2025 MASCAC field hockey championship game at Alumni Field on November 8.
The win marked Westfield State’s 18th victory of the season, their 16th consecutive win, both active school records, as the Owls secured back-to-back conference titles.
