WESTFIELD — Friends, family, and acquaintances of the late City Councilor Barbara Swords dedicated a park in her honor at a ceremony behind Highland Elementary School last week.
“Hopefully through this dedication, this plot of land that extends to Crane Avenue will be protected from future development and will continue to be a place of untouched natural woodland,” said Keith Swords, Barbara’s son.
