WESTFIELD – Although the Westfield Little League Baseball 11-Year-Olds stepped up to play at the next progression of competition in sectionals, they quickly leveled the playing field.
Westfield pitchers Bobby Strange-Skribiski and Micah Dolan tossed a combined six-hitter, striking out seven batters and each went 2-for-3 at the plate to help the Whip City’s 11s hold off Holden 6-3 in their sectional opener Friday night, July 12 at Ralph E. Sanville Memorial Field (Cross Street).
