Westfield clerk has more than 3K mailed ballot requests for Super Tuesday vote

WESTFIELD — City Clerk Kaitlyn Bruce said on Feb. 8 that she’s received approximately 3,400 applications for vote by mail ballots for the March 5 presidential primary election, with more requests coming in every day.

All registered voters for the 2024 state and federal elections may apply for a mailed ballot online at www.sec.state.ma.us/MailInRequestWeb/MailInBallot.aspx or by submitting a paper application. Requests must be received by the city clerk no later than 5 p.m. on the fifth business day before Election Day.

Bruce said voters who intend to vote in person on Election Day, March 5, should not return the 2024 Vote by Mail postcards they received to request a ballot.
