NORTHAMPTON — Mydalis Vera sat near the front of the room at the Northampton Center for the Arts, silently reading from the book “Survival and Beyond.”
The anthology is a collection of essays and poems written by local survivors of domestic violence. Vera contributed a poem titled “The House.”
