Cleanup for a train derailment in Western Massachusetts could take days, according to the Leverett Police Department.
The train derailed on Farley Road in Wendell Tuesday afternoon. The road was closed due to the derailment, and remains closed until the cleanup is complete. The train company was on its way to begin the cleanup process around 7 p.m. Tuesday.
