Western Mass. selectman may not live in town he serves, board member claims

WARE — A member of the Ware Selectboard is facing accusations that he harassed the former chair of the board and that he no longer resides in the town he represents.

Selectboard member Josh Kusnierz recently filed a complaint with the Ware Board of Registrars against his colleague on the board, Terrance Smith, questioning whether he is eligible to serve as an elected official. In an interview, Kusnierz said because Smith no longer lives in Ware, Smith should not serve on the five-person Selectboard.
