
Throughout the 2024-25 boys lacrosse season, MassLive will unveil updated rankings each week, showcasing the top 10 teams in Western Massachusetts.

- Longmeadow (12-2, Previous Rank: No. 1)
- Minnechaug (13-1, PR: No. 2)
- Agawam (12-2, PR: No. 3)
- West Springfield (11-3, PR: No. 4)
- East Longmeadow (9-3, PR: No. 5)
- Hoosac Valley (14-1, PR: No. 9)
- Northampton (14-2, PR: No. 6)
- Amherst (8-4, PR: No. 7)
- Granby (8-4, PR: NR)
- Westfield (2-12, PR: No. 8)
The top five teams in this weeks rankings remained the same from last week, but the teams below it shifted significantly.
South Hadley (2-12) was removed from the rankings following a eight-game losing streak, leaving room to be replaced by Granby, who debuts at the No. 9 spot with a record of 8-4, riding a four-game win streak.
Hoosac Valley took the biggest jump in the rankings, jumping up three spots from No. 9 to No. 6.
The Hurricanes ended their regular season on the right foot Wednesday with a 14-8 win over Wahconah, ending a successful 14-1 season with just a loss to Northampton.
The upcoming Western Mass. playoff seedings for lacrosse are set to be revealed next week on Tuesday, May 20. The postseason action will ramp up quickly, with semifinals for each class set to begin the following day, Wednesday, May 21.
