WEST SPRINGFIELD – Abel Varzeas was an All-Western Mass. first team selection in 2024 for the West Springfield football team.
He played multiple positions, including some snaps at quarterback. With Nate Stone graduating last year, Varzeas stepped into a full-time role as the quarterback this year. And on Friday night, he showed why he earned that role.
