A report was issued from the National Weather Service on Saturday at 5:45 a.m. for gusty winds until 8 a.m. for Berkshire County.
“Current observations show isolated wind gusts up to 50 to 55 mph across parts of the Capital District early this morning, and these gusts are expected to spread eastwards into the Berkshires over the next hour or so. In addition to blowing snow reducing visibility and cold wind chills, a few downed trees or limbs resulting in power outages may be possible with these winds,” states the weather service.
