As rain tore through Brimfield, flea market vendors and shoppers found themselves surrounded by water.
But that isn’t stopping the show.
“Wear rubber boots and you will be fine‚” one person suggested for Friday’s shopping.
The Brimfield Flea Market started May 13 and lasts until May 18. It is open from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. daily.
The event is held rain or shine. And it’s not uncommon for rain to try to dampen a day of shopping.
Many vendors stated the water from the rain had begun to go away Thursday night. But it could still be muddy.
Friday’s shopping hours are expected to be dry. However, more rain could return Friday night, according to the National Weather Service.
There’s another chance of showers and thunderstorms on Saturday. But most of the day Sunday is expected to be dry.
