In the first action for Group E at Euro 2024 Romania goes against Ukraine on Monday, June 17 at Allianz Arena in Munich.
The match is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. EST and will be broadcast on Fubo Sports. Fans looking to watch can do so through FuboTV, which offers a free trial.
Ukraine is looking to build off a quarterfinal finish at the last European Championship to runner-up England. After qualifying for the Knockout Stage as the fourth-best third-place group finisher, Ukraine earned an upset victory over Sweden in extra time to pick up a second win in Euro 2020. In this year’s tournament, Ukraine will face Slovakia and then Belgium to close out group play.
Romania hasn’t been in a major tournament since Euro 2016, when it came in last in its group, only earning one point in a 1-1 draw with Switzerland. It will take on Belgium and then Slovakia in its quest to break free from Group Stage for the first time since 2000 when it reach the quarterfinals at Euros.

As the Associated Press explains in a story, UEFA is doing its best to keep Russian support away from Monday’s match between Ukraine and Romania as Ukraine has been at war with Russia.
Russia has been banned from UEFA competitions since the nations 2022 occupation of Ukraine. Still, organizers are making sure Russian flags do not make their way into the stadium to antagonize Ukraine.
Russian flags were seen among Serbian supporters during the nation’s match with England.
This also comes in light of German police needing to intervene after violence took place outside of a restaurant and chairs and other objects were thrown prior to Sunday’s action between England and Serbia.
