An updated report from the National Weather Service was issued on Monday at 11:04 p.m. for snow showers until Tuesday at midnight for Berkshire County.
“At 11:04 p.m., a band of heavy snow was along a line extending from Clermont to near Otis and moving east at 15 MPH,” says the weather service.
Locations impacted by the alert include Great Barrington, Livingston, Copake, Sheffield, Pine Plains, Clermont, Otis, Ancram, Canaan, Sandisfield, Ashley Falls, Housatonic, Claverack-Red Mills, Hillsdale, New Marlborough, Taghkanic, Monterey, Alford, Tyringham and Ancramdale.
According to the weather service, “Conditions can deteriorate rapidly in winter weather situations. Be prepared for snow or ice covered roads. Slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.”
