SPRINGFIELD — Nadia Milleron, the independent candidate challenging U.S. Rep. Richard Neal to represent the 1st Congressional District, said Thursday the Democratic congressman’s ties to corporate lobbyists block needed reforms.
This includes a proposal to lower the threshold for inspecting and taxing packages headed into the country, she said.
