Two Mass. natives miss cut, one other moves on at rain-soaked FM Championship

NORTON — Two Massachusetts natives saw their FM Championship come to an end on Friday, while another moved on in a rain-soaked second round at TPC Boston.

Westborough’s Alexa Pano and Shrewsbury’s Brittany Altomare missed the cut after Round 2. Pano shot even on Friday, putting her at 1-over for the tournament. She shot 1-over on Day 1.

Pano’s total score was 145.

Altomare shot 2-under in Round 2 to put her at 2-over through the first two days. She shot 4-over in Round 1. Altomare’s total score was 146.

The projected cut line is 2-under.

Rockland’s Megan Khang had to wait a bit longer to seal her trip to Round 3 after three separate rain delays halted play at TPC Boston. Khang was on her final hole when the third delay occurred.

After a lengthy second round, Khang finished at 3-under for the day and 4-under for the tournament. She is tied for 24th.
