SOUTHWICK – Just as Conservation Commission Coordinator Sabrina Pooler bent over to pick up a dead box turtle she found while searching for vernal pools with U.S. Fish and Wildlife biologist Nathan Bush, he asked her what she was doing.
“You’re not supposed to do that,” Bush said to Pooler as she reached down.
