Turinian Jewelers celebrates grand open in downtown with ribbon cutting

WESTFIELD — When Matthew Turgeon got into the jewelry business several years ago, he looked at it only as a wise investment, but then something changed. That something led to him opening Turinian Jewelers downtown at 81 Elm St.

“When I started doing it originally, it was supposed to be an investment, but then I realized, ‘Oh my God, this is what I want to do,’” Turgeon said, while standing in his store surrounded by his friends and family, minutes before a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate its grand opening Friday.
