A store in Massachusetts sold three $50 lottery tickets — and all were $20,000 winners.
The $20,000 prizes were from “$25,000,000 Mega Money,” a $50 scratch ticket game released in May. All three $25 million grand prizes still remain to be claimed in the game as of Dec. 11, along with three $2 million and 10 $1 million.
The winning $20,000 tickets were all sold at James Quick Mart in Swansea. All three tickets were claimed on Wednesday.
There were also two other $20,000 prizes claimed from the game on Wednesday, but those tickets were sold in Edgartown on Martha’s Vineyard at Your Market and at Family Farms in Leominster.
Additionally, someone claimed a $100,000 prize on Wednesday. It was from “$15,000,000 Colossal Millions,” and the winning ticket was sold at Boston Convenience in East Weymouth.
Overall, at least 413 prizes worth $600 or more were won or claimed in Massachusetts on Wednesday, including six in Springfield, 14 in Worcester and 42 in Boston.
The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
The largest lottery prize won so far this year was worth $1 million a year for life, from a winning “Lifetime Millions” scratch ticket sold in Springfield and claimed in July.
