This Shaw’s grocery store in Mass. sold a $1 million lottery prize

Someone who went to the grocery store in Massachusetts and decided to pick up a $5 lottery ticket came forward to claim a $1 million prize on Monday.

The $1 million prize was from the lottery’s “Money Money Money” scratch ticket game, which was released on March 18, 2022. There’s just one $1 million grand prize remaining to be claimed in the game as of Tuesday.

The winning $1 million ticket was sold in Shrewsbury from the Shaw’s grocery store in the town.

Another $1 million prize was claimed on March 18 from the “$10,000,000 Premier Cash” scratch ticket game, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery. The winning ticket was sold at a Gulf gas station in Hingham.

Additionally, a $100,000 prize was claimed from the “Millions” scratch ticket game on Monday. That winning ticket was sold in Medford at Oasis Brazilian Restaurant.

Overall, there were at least 778 lottery prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in Massachusetts on Monday, including 24 in Springfield, 31 in Worcester and 61 in Boston.

The Massachusetts State Lottery releases a full list of winning tickets every day. The list only includes winning tickets worth more than $600.
